Annual Reports

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)

I designed a series of five annual reports in the mid-’90s for United Cerebral Palsy. The reports all received awards from various graphic design industry competitions including the ADCMW, and ASAE Gold Circle distinctions. Each one had a unique theme and distinctive style. Illustrations are by James Yang. Colored collage photos by Taran Z (using in-camera photo alteration, not Photoshop). Monochrome photos by Claudio Vazquez.

National Association for Music Education (NAfME)

The brief for NAfME’s 2018-19 annual report was “make numbers look bold and interesting“. NAfME presented it as a downloadable PDF.

National Disability Institute (NDI)

The first annual report I designed was a tie-in to the Real Economic Impact Tour (REIT) — an alliance of 900 organizations and partners in 100 cities — that promotes economic empowerment for Americans with disabilities. The other report was issued as a PDF.

Albert Shanker Institute

The Albert Shanker Institute promotes vibrant democracy, quality public education, and a voice for working people in decisions affecting their jobs and their lives. This is a five-year report that they had me design.

Lasko Design + Consulting

Promotional booklet to promote my design work for annual reports. It stylistically mimicked some of the work I designed for other clients.
